Stanley Watson,Jr. is a native of Norfolk, VA. He is one of the premiere gospel recording artists that hail from the region along with other artists. He started singing R&B in his teens and early 20's. However, he had a higher calling on his life and switched to the gospel genre exclusively. He has released three compact disks over the last seven years including “Jesus Is Real” (2006), I Am A New Creature” (2010) and the “MERCY&GRACE” (2014).

(Atlanta GA), Enlightment (hosted by Colby Heard) and The 700 Club, etc. He was interviewed exclusively by Mr. George Houston of Blessed Lifestyle Magazine. Also, Stanley Ray, hosted his very own radio show “Still Holding On Ministries”on WPCE 1350 AM.
Stanley has collaborated with Jurnee Productions based out of Orlando, Florida, headed by CEO Mr. Joe Woodard, for the company's “Inspiration Celebration” series. During this time, Stanley Ray shared the stage with some of the gospel music industry's finest including Smokie Norful, Deitrick Haddon,Vicki Winans and others. In 2010,Stanley was invited to the 96.3 KISS FM's Family Reunion Gospel Showcase in Augusta, Georgia.
He shared the marquee with James Fortune and FIYA as well as others. Stanley has also taken his God-given talents beyond music and acting such as providing modeling talent for Phillip Michaels Fashion for Men. Stanley Ray is affiliated and registered with BMI as a Composer/Writer/Publisher, producing
songs of praise and worship. He is ministering to the people proclaming the Good News that God is ready to heal and mend broken hearts and souls as well as give them a new lease on life in Jesus' name. AMEN!
